The coffee is grown in the Montecristo Trifinio, a national park that extends into all three countries and protects a rich biodiversity. Speciality coffee out of Chalatenango has been increasing in both quantity and quality, and this particular lot is loved for its vanilla sweetness and easy-going but juicy orange acidity.
